Newburgh Metals is a 125,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art metal fabrication shop. We specialize in Laser/Punch machinery, CNC Machining, Precision Forming, Welding, Powder coating, and Assembly.

We're growing and currently looking for a part-time welder to join our fabrication team. A professional who takes pride in producing consistent welding.

Job Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding metal components with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques and fabrication skills to bring designs to life in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities/Skills

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components.

- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, welding techniques to join various metals (Aluminum, Stainless, Cold Rolled Steel) with precision.

- Measure materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.

- Ability to weld in multiple positions (flat,horizontal,vertical,overhead)

- Able to lift up to 50lbs, and work in a standing position throughout the shift.

- Follow safety protocols diligently while working; maintain a clean and organized workspace.

- Reliable, self-motivated, and detail oriented with minimal supervision

- Familiarity with ERP work order systems.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
