Weatherization / Retrofit Technician

Full-Time | $20/hr + Overtime | Hanover, MD Join an Award-Winning Green Energy Company!

Advanced Green Home Solutions, based in Hanover, MD, is seeking a reliable and motivated Weatherization / Retrofit Technician to join our growing team. If you have hands-on construction or home repair experience and are passionate about making a difference in the environment, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

- Install residential insulation and air sealing (attics, basements, crawl spaces)

- Perform light electrical work, drywall, and basic construction tasks

- Handle venting to exterior, load/unload trucks, and assist with job site setup

- Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent our team with a positive attitude

- Work closely with a supportive team to improve energy efficiency in homes

Schedule & Pay:

- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

- Pay: Starting at $20/hour (based on experience)

- Overtime: Time and a half for hours over 40/week

- Job Type: Full-Time, W2 Employment

Requirements:

- Experience in Weatherization / home performance, construction, insulation, HVAC, or home repair

- Ability to work in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces, etc.)

- Must be on time daily (arrival at Hanover office by 6:30 AM)

- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle

- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

- Physically fit and able to lift/carry equipment (About 50 LBS)

Preferred Qualifications:

- DOT or OSHA Certification

- Previous experience in home energy efficiency or weatherization
