About This Job

Key Responsibilities

•

Flush all hydrants in the distribution system to ensure water is at the highest quality.

•

Maintain and perform general maintenance on all hydrants in the distribution system. i.e. paint, grease, service

•

Measure CI2 results on all water and make sure it is within state regulations

•

Maintain all outside grounds at the water plant which includes grass cutting and weed eating.

•

Ability to lift fifty (50) pounds, bend, twist, push, and pull.

•

Omission of specific statement of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or logical assignment to the position.

Personal Requirements

•

Valid Tennessee Driver License

•

Proficient with computers

•

Knowledge of State, Federal, and Local Regulations

•

Excellent time management and meticulous attention to detail

•

Strong communication skills verbal and written

•

Ability to walk, stand, sit, climb stairs, twist, bend, push, pull, and lift fifty (50) pounds.

•

Ability to work outside in various temperatures.

•

Ability to work independently

Personal Qualifications

•

High School diploma or G.E.D required with some college preferred.

•

Expected to obtain Grade II Distribution License within 5 years.
