JOB DUTIES

- Monitors on the computer the entire plant; performance of machinery and equipment used to control the treatment process control decisions.

- Inspects valves, pumps, and plant equipment.

- Flushes grit pump, greases and oils pumps, checks tracking arms, and monitors other equipment used to decontaminate wastewater.

- Collects wastewater samples for standard tests, such as biochemical oxygen demand, dissolved oxygen, suspended solids, and pH.

- Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.

- Performs routine cleaning of equipment and work areas.

- Performs housekeeping and ground maintenance duties.

- Mows grass at plants and at pump stations; paints, cleans, and repairs facilities.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27,976.00 - $31,490.08 per year
