Seeking a Forklift Operator/CDLA Driver to be a back-up driver for customer deliveries. When there are no customer deliveries this role will support our Logistics team 90% of time working in the Warehouse (7AM to 3:30 PM) at Studco headquarters in Webster NY, packing orders, using the forklift to move product and assisting the logistics team with other tasks as required.

This is full time position, Monday -Friday.

Truck Driver Main Activities:

- Deliver Goods in a timely and safe manner to customers during the evenings Monday- Friday as required

- Operate at all times in accordance with the Studco Truck Driver Safety Procedure

- Maintain the cleanliness of Studco Vehicles to uphold the company image

- Check all straps and loading to ensure product is safe

- Pre and post trip inspections when driving

- No touch freight

- Home daily

- 70 MPH governing speed on trucks

- New Freightliner trucks

- 48 Ft Stepdeck Trailer

- When not delivering goods, assist dispatch team in packing orders and loading trucks

- Check all paperwork to ensure that all product is accounted for and in good condition.

- Operate at all times in accordance with the Studco Truck Driver Safety Procedure

- Maintain the cleanliness of Studco Vehicles to uphold the company image

- Understand and maintain confidentiality relating to all business activities, especially relating to manufacturing details and customer/ supplier details. Insure employees are doing the same.

- Performs other related duties as assigned by Logistics Supervisor

- Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines- Includes any uniforms if supplied

- Work as a team with the Dispatch department to do whatever is needed.

- The Truck Driver is the face of our company – Support and Sell the company to all customers and workers wherever possible

Truck Driver Required Skills:

- CDL – Class A

- Reasoning Ability

- Metal Coil Endorsement required upon hire if not already obtained
