Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a WQ Specialist located in Tyler, TX. The WQ Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and managing water quality, conducting tests and analyses, assessing compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The specialist will also coordinate with various departments to ensure the provision of safe and reliable water services, perform field inspections, and implement water quality improvement programs.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of water quality management and regulatory compliance

- Proficiency in performing tests and analyzing water quality data

- Experience in conducting field inspections and coordinating improvement programs

- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Water Quality Technician Certificate) are a plus
