About the Opportunity:
The Vice President of Commercial Operations will develop Mission Solar Energy’s (MSE) commercial activities to oversee marketing and sales operations that are aligned with MSE’s strategies, growth and objectives. The incumbent will meet and exceed MSE’s revenue goals while forging strategic partnerships and ensure customer satisfaction across utility-scale and residential solar markets.
Key Responsibilities:
•Lead marketing and sales operations teams to support revenue, margin, and market share targets.
•Build and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, EPCs, utilities, and government entities.
•Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure delivery of customer requirements.
•Develop and execute commercial strategies that support the company's growth objectives.
•Develop and track KPIs to measure commercial performance and oversee pricing strategies.
•Implement CRM to generate prospects, data for client proposals, forecasting sales revenue and co-manage a portfolio of accounts.
•Lead and mentor a high-performing sales operations and marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability and results.
•Monitor market intelligence reports, the competitive landscape, and customer needs to guide business decisions.
•Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
•10+ years of senior commercial leadership experience in solar/renewable energy manufacturing.
•Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
•Subject matter expert of the U.S. solar market, including utility, commercial, residential.
•Verified success in leading sales in commercial operations.
