- Coordinates 811 underground locates.
- To provide prompt and efficient service to members by locating and marking underground facilities in accordance with the rules and regulations as set forth by Kentucky 811 and Warren RECC.
- To create a positive relationship between the Cooperative and our customers.
- Manages KY 811 underground locate requests using Digtix Damage Prevention Software
- Conducts thorough investigations, within the required time period, utilizing tools and equipment provided to Safely and Correctly locate and mark underground electrical, Millennium Energy natural gas, and fiber facilities as needed.
- Maintains records and photographs using provided software.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with company representatives that frequently use underground locate services in the service area.
- Assists operations personnel as needed.
- Uses Warren RECC software packages such as NISC and ArcGIS TruckMap .
- Makes daily checks on tools, cooperative vehicles, and protective equipment and recommends replacement when necessary.
- Reports conditions of Cooperative facilities that need attention and/or repair. Examples are loose service or meter bases, sagging lines, overhanging limbs, meter tampering, etc.
- Maintains database of Kentucky 811 underground locates.
- Must be able to use safe work practices to work around energized pad-mounted. transformers and secondary pedestals.
- Works according to safety rules and policies adopted by Warren RECC, is responsible for own safety, and reports all accidents to supervisor.
- Complies with traffic laws, regulations, and safe practices while operating any company vehicle.

Electric utility experience preferred. Must be experienced in meeting and dealing with the public.
Must have a general knowledge of the Cooperative service area as to roads and access. Must have a sound knowledge of a portion of the National Electric Safety Code. Must have completed CPR and First Aid Courses.
Must be proficient with computers, tablets, and various software. Must be familiar with the service area and able to read and interpret system maps in order to organize work and locate accounts. Must be able to deal with members effectively. Should be able to meet people easily and answer inquiries satisfactorily. Should not divulge confidential information. Must have Groundman skills to be able to work with service and line crews. Must have knowledge of Digtix to access and input information accurately and efficiently.
Must be able to work outdoors in various weather and road conditions.. Must be able to walk considerable distances, along various terrains. Will be in and out of truck several times during the day. Fences to climb and bad dogs are common. Some heavy lifting required. Must be able to work overtime as required. Should be willing to attend training courses related to work. Must be flexible for changes in work assignments and scheduling of work.
Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record. Must wear appropriate PPE while performing job duties.
