The Turnover Coordinator (“TOC”) is generally responsible for the turnover process from construction to startup and startup to end user.
- Interface with Construction, Start-up and Commissioning Groups
- Provide assistance on contractual aspects to the construction group for preparation of short term schedules in support of successful completion and turnover of the systems to the Commissioning and Start-up Group
- Provide coordination with construction group ensuring proper documentation is captured for each system turnover package
- System turnover package development
- System documentation, coordination and tracking
The duties and responsibilities are generally performed in a plant or support services environment. The position generally involves:
- occasional sitting;
- frequent standing,
- occasional walking;
- moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (50lbs.+);- frequent kneeling,
- twisting and balancing;
- occasional climbing; frequent reaching;
- frequent pushing/pulling,
- grasping and operation of machinery.
- 80% of the work is outside; 20% inside.
- Frequent exposure to the elements (ie., heat, cold, rain)
- the majority of the work will be outside or in a construction-like atmosphere;
- hazardous conditions.
- The use of protective clothing and/or personal devices is generally required.
