Based out of Eastern Maintenance Facility, in La Grange, TX, you will focus on transmission line right of ways, using heavy equipment and chemicals to maintain them. You will be trusted to:
•Operate equipment as assigned for construction projects.
•Maintain equipment. Inspect, clean, adjust, lubricate, and make minor adjustments and repairs on the equipment or may make arrangements for major repairs and overhaul as needed.
•Participate in training to gain greater knowledge of procedures, tools, and safe equipment operation pertinent to assigned work area.
•Transport heavy equipment (e.g., backhoe, dump truck, small excavator and large excavator).
•Load, haul and unload various equipment.
•Interpret and follow all safety departmental policies and procedures.
•Perform work by traveling independently or with a small crew to various locations (substations, power plants, water systems, etc.) as scheduled.
You qualify with:
•Zero or more years of experience in operating large equipment, such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, tractor trailers, farm equipment or other machinery.
You are a great fit with:
•Class A Texas commercial driver’s license
•TDA Herbicide Applicator's License
