Position Summary:
We are currently hiring an experienced Bulk Trailer Driver (Class A CDL) for our Material Delivery Service Division. This role is responsible for the safe transport and delivery of aggregate materials to various stockpile locations.
- Operate and drive bulk trailers to designated sites
- Load and unload materials using levers or crank handles to dump/switch trailers
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections and complete inspection reports
- Inspect truck systems and components such as tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and fuel
- Maintain cleanliness of the truck, both interior and exterior, within reason
- Comply with all DOT regulations and DVC safety protocols
- Navigate safely using maps and GPS systems
- Properly wear and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Experience: Six (6) to twelve (12) months of relevant driving experience preferred; equivalent training or a combination of experience and education will be considered
- Skills: Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions; strong awareness of safety and operational standards
- Licensing: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and current DOT Medical Card required
