A growing Central CT ISO and ITAR certified Class A die house, with expanding metal stamping and CNC machining operations, has an immediate opening for a first shift tool and die maker. Must be able to build and repair progressive and secondary tooling.
Must be able to work with limited supervision. A minimum of 5 years experience is required. Experience in large tooling and ISO background a plus, but not required. Hours include Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime to be worked as needed to satisfy expanding operating requirements and other needs.
Position Duties: Can include, but is not limited to:
- Working closely with our Project Engineers
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Use precision measuring equipment and working to close tolerance
- Operate all tool room equipment (miller, grinder, lathe, hones, jig borer, jig grinders)
- Keep working area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.
