Manager, EHS Strategy and Continuous Improvement (Temporary four-month position)
Where will you work:
This position will be onsite at our Regina location
The primary function of the EHS Strategy and Continuous Improvement Manager is to develop processes, manage project portfolios, facilitate activities, and lead projects that ensure EHS activities are aligned with Mosaic’s strategic priorities. This role will also develop means to streamline action item tracking and decision-making processes within the EHS team and partner with the EHS Governance group to ensure the dissemination of essential information, as well as adequate training is developed for effective deployment.
What You’ll Do•Coordinate with EHS department leadership to develop a globally aligned EHS Strategy in support of Mosaic’s strategic priorities.
•Manage the development and maintenance of KPI tracking and evaluation processes to ensure that the EHS strategy, objectives and metrics are being met and maintained to drive accountability throughout EHS.
•Develop and leverages data analytics and statistical methods to monitor performance.
•Identify and provide input and feedback to key leaders about process improvement opportunities and execute process improvement projects.
•Develop and implement change management plans to support effective change communication, monitor transitions and evaluate results.
•Collaborate with Transformation and Corporate Strategy teams on change readiness, change management techniques and alignment.
•Lead through significant change and implementation of EHS programs.
What You’ll Need
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related
•Required certifications: Structured problem-solving experience / training, such as Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent
•8+ years in CI, Operations, Project Management, Management Systems.
•Proficiency with MS Office Suite
•Experience with SAP, BI, Intelex and/or other EHS platforms
•Experience with Minitab, JMP or other statistical evaluation software
•Dynamic thinking and problem-solving
•Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
•Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage competing priorities
