As a Tank Buyout Coordinator, you will facilitate Underground Propane Tank Sales & Purchases for all New England business. Your goal will be to assist in meeting customer requirements daily. Your success be based on providing support to the team and collaborating directly with internal and external customers.

- Maintain detailed logs and files to track status of all
- Collaborate with Competitors to assist in negotiating Sales, Purchases or Swaps of Underground Propane Tanks and LP fuel recovery
- Be a positive, professional liaison between customer and competitors to ensure seamless transition between companies
- Adhere to required safety and compliance guidelines when negotiating tank sale/swap (Cathodic Readings, Tank condition, Tank Age)
- Seek Senior Manager approval/recommendations for any tanks not within our required guidelines
- Notify Senior Residential Account Maintenance Team and/or Commercial Sales Team of any potential customer defection so that they can reach out to the customer to try to retain them
- Work with internal service department to obtain necessary information needed to facilitate smooth customer transition
- Invoice Competitors for tanks sold in a timely manner
- Perform necessary account maintenance (enter cathodic readings in database, update Equipment Screens, update and resolve logs, notify delivery and service team when sales are final so we can service or stop service to a customer
- Send necessary documentation information to Fixed Assets Team and/or Residential Coordinator to update the ledger as required
- Track Competitor Balances to make sure they are paying for tanks that are being sold to them for lost customers switching to other suppliers, place holds, as necessary
- Follow all seasonal process guidelines to ensure compliance
- Provide backup assistance to Customer Service Team members on Salesforce for incoming and outgoing customer calls, as needed

- Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience is an asset.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role or a related field, preferably in a contact center or transportation environment.
- Team player that can accept shared responsibility.
