Position Title: Support Driver

Essential Functions:

We seek a experienced Support Driver to join our growing team. You will drive dump trailers and vac trailers to transport a variety of materials from the job site to the yard as well as assists the crews.
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Transports materials form jobsite to yard
•Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
•Fills potholes and spots utilities
•Operates dump truck and hydrovac trailers
Success Factors:
•Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse climatic conditions
•Ability to lift up to 80 lbs multiple times during a work shift
•Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping, and kneeling
•Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions
•Ability to work well independently and as part of a team with co-workers
•Ability to pass motor vehicle, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy
•Willingness and ability to learn additional skills
Experience and Education:
•One (1+) plus years experience working in construction
•An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis
•Possession of a valid State Driver’s License is required
•Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR check, a Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated physical as a requirement of the job and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
•Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Residence Driver’s License is required within two weeks of employment.
•Candidates must pass criminal and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background checks and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
