The Student Intern – IT Strategy & Architecture will assist the IT Strategy & Architecture team in providing assistance with the daily operations of the organization’s strategic initiatives.

Essential Functions

- Assist the IT Strategy & Architecture team with the planning, architecture and implementation of the organization’s strategic priorities and roadmaps

- Work with different IT Teams to identify, resolve and document technical constraints, dependencies, and analyze costs

Other Functions

- Evaluates new software and hardware via proof-of-concept and/or proof-of-value to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing software and hardware.

- Develop presentations for internal audiences to highlight IT Strategy and Architecture updates

- Performs related duties, as required

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

- Coursework in IT and/or engineering

- Knowledge of major cloud computing platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) including networking, storage, security, virtualization and financial management.

- Knowledge of database technology, software technology, systems analysis, research techniques, systems development standards, quality and cost controls

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

- Excellent skills in documentation of systems and procedures

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Education, Experience Requirements

2+ years completed college education in an IT/engineering-focused discipline
