FABCO is a full‑service steel fabricator, looking for a skilled Structural Steel Installer & Fabricator to join our fast‑growing team in Woodburn, Oregon. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility, combined with our highly trained field crews and advanced technological capabilities, allows us to execute a wide range of projects from small installations to complex structural builds.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Installer & Fabricator to support field erection, installation, and welding of structural and architectural steel systems. This role requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality on every jobsite.

Role And Responsibilities

- Install and erect structural and architectural steel systems in the field.

- Read and interpret shop drawings, structural/architectural plans, and field markups.

- Perform layout, measuring, fit-up, and alignment using laser levels, transits, and related tools.

- Weld, cut, grind, and modify components as needed for field installation.

- Ensure all work meets FABCO quality standards and project specifications.

- Maintain safe work practices and follow FABCO and OSHA jobsite safety policies.

- Coordinate with crew members, superintendents, and GC site managers to support project flow.

Minimum Qualifications

- 5+ years experience in steel erection or field installation.

- Structural welding experience with current welding certification.

- Ability to read and understand structural and architectural shop drawings.

- Strong knowledge of structural connections, welding, rigging, hoisting, and anchoring.

- Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and work at heights and in various weather conditions.

- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites.
