**Description**

**Duties And Responsibilities**

* Promote a strong safety culture and follow all plant safety policies.
* Operate and adjust slitters to process metal coils per specifications.
* Inspect material during processing to ensure quality standards.
* Identify, document, and properly label slit materials.
* Repair minor mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment.
* Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other machinery safely.
* Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members and escalate issues as needed.
* Assist with bulk product inspections and defect removal.
* Participate in training and certification programs.
* Train new operators when necessary.
* Use precision tools (micrometers, calipers) for quality control.
* Other duties as assigned

**Required Education And Experience**

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Manufacturing experience preferred.
* Sufficient ability to maintain records and reports.
* Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments.

**Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities**

* Working knowledge of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
* Understanding of production procedures.
* Analytical skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Teamwork and communication skills
