- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with client, company, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Lead and coordinate safety training programs for employees and contractors.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of safety-related activities and compliance.
- Monitor and enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures.
- Prepare and present safety performance reports to senior management and key client personnel.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to maintain a safe working environment
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety management role within an industrial, mechanical, or environmental setting.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing safety programs and reducing workplace incidents.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST) are preferred.
- Local candidates are preferred.
- Knowledge in tools, equipment, machinery used: Hydroblasting, Vacuum Truck, and Tank cleaning equipment.
- Working conditions: Will be exposed to all weather conditions. Work on various structures and surfaces both at ground and elevated levels up to and possibly exceeding 150 ft. Work in confined spaces. Work a 12-hour shift with 30-minute lunch breaks. If requested, work overtime, and respond to emergency callouts whenever they occur. Work days, nights, and weekends. Travel to customer and other Miller sites as needed.
- Physical effort required: Handling tools, materials, and equipment weighing up to 150 lbs. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, crawl, bend, squat, and kneel. Must be capable of climbing towers/vessels/tanks.
