The Sign Designer is responsible for the entire process of defining sign specifications, visualizing / creating graphics, and producing logo illustrations while supporting the sales staff in bringing awareness to Maneri products within the industry. This position is an active, hands-on role focusing on shaping the visual aspects of our products, while operating state of the art digital equipment.
- Effectively communicate and understand Supervisor instructions
- Operate and maintain digital printers and plotters
- Understand plans and requirements for each task
- Quality Control management
- Manage ink and vinyl inventory levels
- Working in tandem with various areas and team members
- Assisting in the manufacturing process
- Use of hand or power tools
- Inspection of work and ability to diagnose problems and correct them
- Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2-5 years proven success in graphic design
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and oral, bilingual a plus
- Excellent computer and internet mining skills and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Composer
- Strong customer orientation; experience developing strong partnerships by understanding and anticipating customer’s business needs; ability to qualify prospects
- Must be results-driven, organized, friendly, tenacious, work independently and have a positive “make it work” attitude
- High energy and self-motivated
- Team focused and support the company direction
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Extensive computer and telephone use
