Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shop Worker to join our team in a manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a shop setting and possess mechanical knowledge to assist with various assembly and production tasks. This role requires proficiency in the use of hand and power tools, as well as the ability to operate forklifts safely. Sand blasting and painting experience is a must. If you cant sand blast or paint don't apply.

Responsibilities

- Operate machinery and equipment. Metal saws, drill press, iron worker , fork lifts

- Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.

- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Experienced knowledge of sand blasting and painting.

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is preferred. Sandblasting and painting is a must.

- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is a plus.

- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

- Experience operating forklifts; certification is an advantage.

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing quality work.

- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.95 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
