Extreme Cleaning Inc. is seeking a dedicated Shop Assistant to support our maintenance and repair operations. This role involves assisting technicians with equipment repairs, maintaining shop cleanliness, handling deliveries, helping with inventory, performing basic maintenance checks, running errands, and providing general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist technicians with equipment maintenance and repairs (pressure washers, vans, trucks, power tools, etc.).

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

- Load and unload deliveries, ensuring proper check-in and storage.

- Support the Shop Foreman with inventory management (stock checks, ordering).

- Perform basic preventative maintenance under guidance.

- Run errands for parts and supplies.

- Adhere to all safety protocols.

- Provide general office and shop support.

- Cleaning trucks, vans and equipment.

Requirements

- Basic mechanical understanding and hands-on experience.

- Valid driver's license with a clean record.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills.

- Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly, bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for long periods; comfortable with varying weather conditions.

- Good organizational skills.

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanics/auto tech is a plus.
