Overview

As a Shipping Specialist you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility. Your expertise in operating a forklift and your adherence to safety protocols will contribute to the smooth flow of materials and support the overall operations of our facility.

Schedule: M-Th 3:30 PM-2:00 AM

Hourly Rate: Starting at $23.10/hour

Skills & Abilities:

- Drive a forklift safely throughout the facility.

- Manage orders for picking and loading.

- Load and unload trailers.

- Pick material as required by customer order.

- Bundle cartons, package and label material as necessary and move material to staging area.

- Inspect material for quality and accuracy.

- Plan and build necessary blocking to ensure material is secure in trailer.

- Use necessary material handling equipment to accomplish tasks.

- May be required to spot empty trailers at shipping dock and move loaded trailers to trailer parking area.

- Ability to understand M1 (ERP System)

- Monitor, exercise, and encourage good housekeeping.

- Strict adherence to safety practices..
