Kings Energy Services is currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Service Champion/ Branch Administrator in our Nisku, Alberta branch. This is a permanent full-time position. If you are a motivated team-player we want to hear from you!
Kings Energy Services serves the Energy Industry and Industrial sectors Canada-wide specializing in sales, distribution, and service of valves, instrumentation & electrical products. It is also a solutions provider to the Oil and Gas Drilling Sector specializing in recertification, machining, and manufacturing. Since 1977 it has offered superior shop and field service through its seven regional locations across Canada
The Service Champion plays a key role in managing the scheduling, documentation, and workflow of manufacturing and valve service operations. This position ensures the accuracy and completeness of all paperwork prior to billing, maintains strong relationships with internal and external customers, and oversees the tracking and prioritization of jobs. The Service Champion is responsible for maintaining data integrity in the VeeBase system, supporting inventory management, and ensuring compliance with customer and company requirements. This role also involves preparing cross-border job packages, initiating nonconformance reports, and contributing to a culture of safety, trust, and accountability. This position is located in our manufacturing office in Nisku, Alberta. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
- Collaborate with EQS Team Lead to manage scheduling and paperwork.
- Review and verify accuracy of all billing-related documents (POs, quotes, estimates, sales orders).
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage paper flow and work order compliance.
- Ensure accurate data entry and integrity in VeeBase.
- Address inquiries related to procedures, products, and documentation.
- Fulfill reporting requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings.
- Prepare job packages for U.S. and Canadian border customs submissions (incoming/outgoing).
- Ensure service parts are correctly reflected on invoices.
- Report inventory issues and support stock accuracy with Branch Lead
- Assist with quarterly inventory counts and maintain inventory processes.
- Manage shipping/receiving and related documentation.
- Serve as the administrative liaison between internal teams and external clients.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Billing, quoting, purchase orders and invoicing experience.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Ability to work within time constraints and to manage time and duties effectively and efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work within complex, fast-moving work environment under minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook), Microsoft Business Central (ERP)
- Inside Sales skills or the willingness to learn.
- Product and service knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail for data entry and paperwork.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak English
- Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Manufacturing office environment – Steel toed boots are required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs may be required.
