We are looking for a skilled Water Truck Driver to join our team and contribute to our solar array projects. In this role, you will operate a water truck and other commercial vehicles to ensure safe and efficient transport of water, as well as other materials and equipment, to and across solar installation projects.
- Operate a water truck and other commercial vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety regulations, while demonstrating the ability to navigate various terrains and weather conditions.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Promptly identify and address any problems or issues that arise, including mechanical problems, to mitigate any delay of operations.
- Collaborate with managers and other team members to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work to include time logs, maintenance logs, deliveries, work performed, and any other data as required by the supervising manager.
- Monitor environmental conditions and adjust operations accordingly to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Display good organization, communication, and people skills.
- Contribute to the overall success of the project by being a team player and maintaining a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Work extended hours as required, with single shifts lasting as long as 12 hours.
- Work weekly overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested, including manual labor, when not operating machinery.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the "N" tanker endorsement.
- Proven experience operating water trucks in a construction or infrastructure setting.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to transporting liquids.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and identify potential problems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills preferred.
- Ability to drive safely in challenging terrain and weather conditions.
- Ability to navigate to remote areas where solar sites may be located.
- Have reliable transportation to get you to work on time daily.

- Hourly pay with opportunities for overtime pay.
- Paychecks are issued weekly.
