b19 Consulting is working with an established power delivery company to find a Senior Substation Engineer, who has a strong electrical utility background. To join a well established team and contribute to a variety of clients.

Ideal skillset of the senior substation engineer:

- 5+ years utility substation design experience (15kV through to 500kV)

- Bachelors’ degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Professional Engineer (PE) license or an EIT with a view of obtaining

- Proficiency with MicroStation (V8 or newer).

- Detailed design of new substation layouts using electrical schematics, bill of materials and equipment specifications.

- Interpreting vendor information to provide design deliverables

- Ability to lead a large portion or the entirety of a substation design project.
