Job Duties
•Under broad direction, supervises and performs inspection of various site operations activities.
•Manages department throughput and keeps track of aging Quality lines pending inspection
•Captures non-conformances in incoming materials and collaborates with accountable departments to ensure timely corrective actions
•Leads daily Quality morning meetings and conducts Gemba walks with team members and leadership
•Oversees calibration and outsourcing of active test equipment to maintain accuracy and compliance
•Performs final inspection on tools assembled by the Production team to ensure quality and specification compliance
•Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems, completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.
•Will assist in developing, deploying and monitoring company established quality management goals, objectives and performance measures.
•Will make recommendations and implement improvements to the company's quality management program.
•Performs CMM programming, setup, and dimensional inspection of parts.
Qualifications
•Completion of a high school diploma or GED and a minimum 3 years of experience is required.
•5-8 years of experience which includes Quality and/or Industry experience is preferred.
Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, a variety of job opportunities might be available, including Senior QA/QC Inspector, or Associate QA/QC Coordinator.
