**About CRU:**

**About the Role:**

This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front. You'll break spot news with urgency, deliver in-depth market insights, and conduct exclusive interviews with CEOs and senior industry figures. You'll also contribute to pricing intelligence, edit contributor content, and help drive the strategic direction of AMU.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Deliver timely, impactful news on market movements, earnings, and industry developments
* Write and edit high-quality content for newsletters and digital platforms
* Conduct interviews with top industry leaders
* Gather and assess market intelligence and pricing data (e.g., lead times)
* Represent AMU at industry events, conferences, and webinars – including moderating sessions
* Work closely with CRU’s expert global aluminum team
* Collaborate with sales/marketing to grow AMU’s reach and impact, including on social media

**Skills & Experience:**

* Proven experience in B2B journalism, preferably with metals or commodity markets
* Strong network or knowledge of the aluminum sector is a major plus
* Excellent written and verbal communication – clear, concise, and insightful
* Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy
* Commercially savvy, deadline-driven, and proactive
* A collaborative, team-first mindset with a “can do” attitude
