Global Fusion Coating Inc. specializes in protective coating applications to combat corrosion and prevent contamination of metallic components. We focus on Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) and specialty Liquid Coatings/Linings. Our controlled indoor air/humidity environment ensures the highest level of corrosion protection by managing the entire process from preparation to blasting. We offer services including abrasive blasting/sandblasting, post weld heat treat oven operations, FBE lining/coating, internal liquid lining/coating, external coating, and airless coating application.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lloydminster, AB. The Sandblaster will be responsible for surface preparation of components using abrasive blasting techniques to remove old paint, rust, and other materials. Duties include setting up and operating sandblasting equipment, maintaining work area cleanliness, adhering to safety procedures, and collaborating with other team members to ensure quality standards are met.

Qualifications

- Abrasion Blasting/Sandblasting skills

- Experience with FBE and Liquid Coatings/Linings

- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices

- Ability to operate and maintain sandblasting equipment

- Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in the work area

- Capability to work on-site in an air/humidity-controlled environment

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Previous experience in the protective coating industry is beneficial

- High school diploma or equivalent required
