Reporting to the Security Officer, the Security Guard is part of the Health & Safety department and collaborates with other departments of the mine.

- Control traffic on the road between Baker Lake and Meadowbank Mine Site.

- Report location of the vehicles on the road.

- Assure security on AWPR to Meadowbank.

- Dispatch communications on the road.

- Produce reports inherent to the function.

- Any other duties required by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- Work experience as Security Guard is an asset;

- Valid driver’s license;

- Must be reliable and show up as scheduled;

- Health & safety oriented;

- Ability working with computers (Microsoft Work & Excel);

- Willingness to learn;

- Experience working in a multicultural environment;

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;

- Ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral & written).
