POSITION SUMMARY

Job Title: Sample Department Fabricator

Reports To: Samples Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY

Makes custom designed samples per the drawings produced by the design group using welding and fabrication processes.

EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING REQUIRED OR PREFERRED

- Must know how to run a variety of fabrication machines such as a press brake, shear, cold saw, tube bender, and drill press.

- Mig welding experience required, Tig welding a plus

- Basic reading, writing, math and excellent communication skills.

- Basic knowledge of computer, willing to train.

- Must be able to read a tape measure.

- Must be able to translate drawings.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Responsible for complete fabrication of samples

- Must be able to build parts from engineered drawings, prints and sketches

- Communicates with other areas of production for completion of parts

- Responsible for making sure samples are produced on time with the highest quality

- Such other duties as are assigned from time to time.

JOB EXPECTATIONS

- 100% quality coming from sample area.

- On time delivery of all samples

- Maintain good housekeeping, product organized and stored for ease of handling.

- Maintain compliance of all required documentation and production reporting.

- Maintain safe working practices.

- Flexible work hours are a must due to machine availability. Must be able to work overtime or flex hours.

- Good positive attitude toward their job and the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
