- Partner with the Divisional EHS Manager to conduct safety inspections and audits, identifying potential hazards and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Support onboarding by delivering engaging safety orientations and hazard-specific training for new team members.
- Lead or assist in investigating incidents and near misses, ensuring root causes are addressed and lessons are shared.
- Develop and distribute safety training materials across the division to foster continuous learning and awareness.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System compliance.
- Analyze safety data and trends to prepare clear, actionable reports on incidents and occupational health metrics.
- Monitor monthly safety KPIs and support safety-related performance initiatives.
- Collaborate on identifying and implementing process improvements that reduce risks and improve safety outcomes.
- Contribute to risk assessments, including Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for new processes, equipment, and contractor activities.
- Provide first aid and coordinate transportation for employees needing medical attention.
- Plan and coordinate safety meetings and maintain documentation.
- Support the Management of Change process by evaluating risks from new tools or processes.
- Actively contribute to special safety projects and divisional initiatives.- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field preferred; Associate’s degree with 2+ years of experience considered.
- Manufacturing safety experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 systems is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work independently or on cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
