The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Reporting to the Surface Services Supervisor, the Heavy Equipment Operator Class 2, will be responsible for:
- Drive different trucks (semi-trailer truck, fardier truck, vacuum truck, bus, fuel tanker, water tanker, sand truck, etc.);
- Operate heavy machinery such as D-8/6/3 tractor, wheel loaders, hydraulic shovel, 40-ton mining truck, telescopic mast truck.
- Maintain the roads on the mine site with all types of heavy machinery specific to this task.
- He ensures that he inspects and conducts preventive maintenance on his equipment consistently.
- Perform all tasks related to airport services.
- If needed, performs all other tasks requested by supervisor.
- Hold a heavy equipment course (DEP) or any other diploma combined with experience deemed equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 6,000 hours of experience as a truck driver and 4,000 hours as a construction machinery operator.
- Hold an explosive permit.
- Hold a valid driver’s license class 1 (SAAQ).
- Experience in a northern environment.
- Bilingualism (French-English).
