•SEO and Content Strategy Manager will be responsible for leading our SEO and AIO (AI Optimization) efforts across a diverse portfolio of websites and products. This role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive organic growth, improve search visibility, and support content performance across key digital properties. This role will own keyword and topical architecture, lead content planning aligned with business goals and user journeys, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, brand, UX, and engineering teams. This position requires a strong blend of technical SEO expertise, content optimization skills, and performance analysis capabilities. This is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of search engine behavior, AI search trends, and the ability to translate data into action to enhance digital experiences and conversion outcomes.
Major Responsibilities
Strategic Ownership & Execution
•Define and lead SEO and AIO content strategies across key web properties, aligning with business goals, campaign plans, and product launches.
•Build Strategy for AIO optimization
•Build roadmap for SEO improvement in line with business strategy
•Own keyword strategy, topical architecture, and content planning across priority journeys and personas.
•Optimize existing content and drive new creation initiatives to improve rankings, visibility, and conversion across organic channels.
•Partner with internal content teams to align SEO strategy with editorial planning
Technical & On-Page SEO
•Conduct technical and content audits to identify issues and opportunities.
•Implement on-page SEO improvements (e.g., metadata, URL structure, header optimization, internal linking, schema markup).
•Partner with engineering, product, and UX teams to influence site architecture, performance, and search accessibility.
•Execute technical SEO work
Cross-Functional Leadership
•Collaborate across digital, brand, product marketing, paid media, and creative teams to ensure content efforts are aligned and scalable.
•Provide SEO and content expertise in campaign planning and web initiatives.
•Manage and coordinate relationships with designers, agencies, or other content vendors supporting SEO or content production.
•Develop aligned consumer resource and help article strategy
Performance Analysis & Optimization
•Execute Ad hoc SEO optimization projects
•Define and track KPIs such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversion rates, and content engagement.
•Use analytics tools to measure effectiveness and iterate based on data.
•Stay on top of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging tools to continuously evolve our SEO and AIO content approach.
Minimum Job Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•5–8 years of experience in SEO and content strategy, with proven results driving organic growth.
•Experience working on AI search optimization
•Experience writing and optimizing content that improves rankings and engages users (landing pages, blog posts, FAQs, etc.)
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
•Advanced SEO Expertise – Deep understanding of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, including AI-driven search optimization (AIO).
•Content Strategy Development – Ability to build keyword strategies, topical architecture, and content plans aligned to user journeys and business goals.
•Analytical & Data-Driven Mindset – Skilled in using SEO and analytics tools to track performance, extract insights, and optimize accordingly.
•Technical SEO Skills – Proficiency in conducting audits, optimizing metadata, implementing schema, and partnering on site architecture.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration – Strong ability to align with product, UX, engineering, and creative teams to drive results.
•Project & Vendor Management – Experience leading projects and coordinating with agencies or freelancers to scale content production.
•Content Creation & Optimization – Ability to guide, write, or edit high-impact content that improves rankings and user engagement.
•Communication & Influence – Skilled in presenting SEO strategies and results to stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
•Adaptability & Trend Awareness – Stays ahead of industry trends, algorithm updates, and emerging AI tools to keep strategy relevant.
