DEPARTMENT: CORPORATE OFFICE - ASSIGNMENT COULD BE AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION
LOCATION: 5371 COOK RD; MORROW, GA 30260 (CORPORATE OFFICE ADDRESS)
The SAFETY/QUALITY COORDINATOR is responsible to ensure compliance with company, customer and governmental safety policies, procedures and regulations. Provide support to all construction activities by facilitating work site and equipment audits, conducting documented safety meetings, accident/incident investigations, and coordination of employee safety training programs.
WORK SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. However, the hours in a day may run longer to complete a project. Possible nights and/or weekend work activities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste and smell.
The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs. Anything weighing more than 50 lbs. requires a two-person lift and should not be attempted alone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions and vibration. The employee may occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risks of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud.
TRAVEL: Travel is required with this position and at times overnight depending where the job is located.
