Job Description
X-energy LLC is seeking a Receptionist to support its team in Rockville, MD. This role is responsible for being the first point of contact in the organization. This role will greet visitors (ensuring they are checked in and their POC is reached), manage incoming calls, handle light administrative tasks, and ensure the front desk operates smoothly and efficiently.
Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities•Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
•Answer general information questions and provide directions for meetings and events, if applicable.
•Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls and voicemails.
•Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and presentable at all times.
•Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
•Manage appointments and provide details about meeting room bookings, if applicable.
•Provide basic public information about the organization to visitors and clients.
•Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and/or document preparation.
•Follow security procedures and manage the visitor check-in process.
•Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.
•Lead the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities, listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document, without close supervision and complete latitude for independent judgement.
•Provide feedback and guidance to more junior team members with the execution of the core tasks and responsibilities listed in the Job Profile Task/Responsibilities section of this document.
•Serve as a mentor to junior team members.
•Shares knowledge related to industry best practices and standards with others across the organization.
•Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Minimum Qualifications
•High school diploma is required.
•Typically, twenty years of experience in a facilities management role required.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Compensation
