Location: Based in St. Louis, MO with travel throughout the Midwest.
Hourly Range: $28-35/hour, depending on experience. R&S provides lodging and daily per diem during travel.
R&S Towers, Inc. specializes in the construction and maintenance of wireless infrastructure and currently works in Missouri and neighboring states. This position requires frequent travel and working in various weather conditions for irregular hours. About the role: You will utilize construction plans and various equipment to prepare sites for projects. You will travel extensively throughout the Midwest, most often leaving Monday and returning Friday. You will be supervising 2-4 person crews, ensuring that safety procedures are diligently followed.
Responsibilities: Understand job scope, schedule, etc. and convey information effectively to your crew.
Lay out landmarks, elevations, and boundaries to ensure successful project placement.
Operate and maintain various types of equipment, and understand the hazards associated with them.
Interpret construction drawings and communicate design requirements to crew members.
Procure materials in advance of project start to allow for uninterrupted work.
Valid driver’s license. (Class A CDL preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain.)
Pass an initial physical and drug screen/random future screens.
Ability to travel regularly and occasionally work weekends.
Be versatile, flexible, and willing to work in changing conditions and situations with enthusiasm.
