We are passionate about the stone industry and have mining operations and a fabrication division for our natural stone products. We are looking for candidates that excel in a team environment and have the willingness to complete all functions related to block processing. An ideal candidate will strive to maximize equipment run time and achieve daily production goals.

Stone Quarry Operator/Miner Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment such as skid steer, track drill, loader and haul truck.

- Operate wire saws and stone drills.

- Perform minor servicing and maintenance on mobile equipment as needed

- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment with appropriate documentation

- Follow all company policies and MSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

- Follow directions of management as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project.

- Labor tasks are a part of this position

- Trims blocks to size using wire/trim saw equipment

- Maximize stone material usage and maintain high level of production

- May assist in maintaining block inventory system

- Responsible for maintaining clean work areas

- Ability to weld is considered a plus

Work all year round. Overtime is common.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:

- Heavy equipment operation: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

- Milbank, SD 57252: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
