Description:
•Prepares rejection notices and verifies defects on return material
•Read blueprints and specifications
•Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
•Assess performant, ensures all work center employees are following press operator procedures, set up sheets, route sheets, special inspection instruction sheets, and all work instructions (verbal and written) correctly – coach and take corrective action as needed
•Completes special assignments or projects established in order to achieve “continuous quality improvement”
•Report and record inspections and test data
•Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
•Must have keen eye for detail
•Basic computers skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
•Must be able to maintain an excellent attendance record
•Must be willing to learn different functions of quality procedures (CMM, ISO, Dimensional checks, etc.)
•Must have good oral and written communication skills
•Must be able to read and understand blueprints and quality expectations
•CMM experience preferred
