Deltronic is hiring and offering an excellent 1st shift opportunity to candidates who are experienced with CMM, CMM programming, dimensional inspections, and have strong GD&T to join our Quality Dept. We welcome all qualified candidates to apply as we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CMM Programmer. AS9100 experience in a machine shop environment is highly preferred and desirable.
Job Overview:
As a Quality Control CMM Programmer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards through precision measuring, data collection, and quality inspections. Your expertise in quality assurance and your ability to analyze and interpret data will be crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Work Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm Monday thru Friday - Overtime likely
Work Tasks: 70% CMM, 20% Dimensional Inspection, 10% Keyence
What the ideal candidate needs to succeed in this role:
- Thorough understanding of aerospace and commercial drawings, parts lists, associated documents and requirements for assembly components/procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise/aptitude in CMM Manager and documentation per Aerospace industry standards.
- The ability to layout, inspect, and report findings in effort to support production environment demands.
- Includes inspection of large complex Aerospace Components using CAD Models and/or Blueprints.
- Comprehensive knowledge of surface plate techniques, alignments and the ability to work from engineering documentation to guarantee through put and repeatability.
- The understanding of AS9100 Quality Management System requirements and general best shop practices in support of the Aerospace Industry including GDT and Military Specs.
- You must have a strong sense of urgency and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Utilize coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to perform dimensional measurements.
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure product specifications are met.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions taken.
- Adhere to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines throughout the inspection process.
- Proven experience as a CMM programmer and Quality Inspector is a must.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and practices.
- Strong knowledge with CMM Manager, AS9100 is preferred, or similar standard.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or patterns.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recording inspection results.
- Knowledge of QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control) processes and methodologies.
