Role Overview
The QMS & Document Control Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the strategic development, execution, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and document control processes for Power Generation Services (PGS) Team. This role ensures that quality programs, policies, and documentation practices comply with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 27001), and align with organizational goals. The Program Manager leads cross-functional collaboration to ensure process standardization, operational excellence, and audit readiness across PGS.
Key Responsibilities
•Implement, and manage PGS QMS framework, ensuring compliance with international quality standards and industry regulations.
•Lead internal quality audits, support external audits, and manage audit response and follow-up activities.
•Support development and monitor quality metrics, trends, and performance indicators to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
•Lead the governance of QMS documentation, including quality manuals, SOPs, procedures, and records.
•Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) through implementation, change controls, risk management, and deviations.
•Own and manage the document control program, including strategy, policy development, training and system administration.
•Oversee document lifecycle management: creation, review, approval, distribution, revision, archival, and obsolescence.
•Ensure electronic document management systems (EDMS) are effectively configured, maintained, and used across departments.
•Coordinate with functional teams to ensure documentation supports regulatory, operational, and business needs.
•Drive standardization of document templates, naming conventions, and filing structures/systems.
•Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects and process mapping. Ensure alignment with business and regulatory priorities.
•Train and mentor teams on QMS principles, document control procedures, and compliance requirements.
•Serve as subject matter expert for audits and inspections on QMS and documentation topics.
•Collaborate with other teams to ensure integrated document management processes.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Life Sciences, Business Administration or a related field.
•Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 27000 lead auditor. Six Sigma or Lean Certifications are a plus.
•Experience: 8+ years in Quality Systems and Document Control, including at least 3 years in a program or project management capacity. Preferably experience in the Power Generation Industry.
•Strong knowledge of QMS regulations and industry standards.
•Exceptional project management, planning, and organizational skills.
•Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capabilities.
•Analytical and data-driven approach to problem-solving
•Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
•Mathematical Skills:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
•Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
•Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Project). Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS), such as OneLibrary or similar platforms, is strongly preferred.
