The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing all activities related to contracted clients to ensure performance meets or exceeds expectations. This role works closely with the executive team and engineering staff to coordinate internal resources as needed to support client goals. Success in this position relies on the ability to build long-term client relationships based on trust, coordinate resources to deliver creative solutions to complex challenges, and drive rapid results while ensuring the safety of patients and staff. As a critical member toward the success of Eneration, this individual will have a significant effect on the company culture. What you’ll do:
•Lead Energy Projects: Manage a portfolio of energy initiatives across multiple hospital campuses and clinics.
•Set Strategic Goals: Collaborate with healthcare executives to define energy reduction targets aligned with operational, financial, and sustainability objectives.
•Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for healthcare clients, maintaining consistent communication with executives, facilities teams, and sustainability staff.
•Develop Long-Term Plans: Create and implement strategic energy programs focused on high-impact, cost-effective outcomes.
•Align with Healthcare Priorities: Ensure energy initiatives support broader goals such as patient safety, facility reliability, and regulatory compliance.
•Coordinate Project Execution: Work closely with engineers, analysts, contractors, and hospital staff to ensure smooth and effective project delivery.
•Track and Report Impact: Monitor energy savings, emissions reductions, and financial performance using validated tools and methodologies.
•Prepare Executive Reports: Develop reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, public disclosures, and board-level decision-making.
•Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance program performance and replicate successful strategies across the organization.
•Manage Implementation Risks: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with executing projects in sensitive healthcare environments.
•Maximize Financial Returns: Integrate utility incentives and rebate programs into project planning to optimize ROI.
•Build Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with national organizations to support program goals.
•Support Additional Needs: Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
Experience:
•REQUIRED: 2+ years of project management, or related experience with proven results
•DESIRED: 5+ years of project management in a healthcare setting with proven results
Education:
•REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
License and Certifications:
•DESIRED: Project Management, LEAN, Six Sigma
