Production Lead (Press Room 2nd Shift) Shift Schedule 2 pm-10:30 pm

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Lead to oversee operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production processes, press operation/set-up, and be skilled in managing teams to ensure efficiency and quality in assembly line operations. This role is crucial for maintaining workflow, meeting production goals, and fostering a safe working environment.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and quality standards.

- Train, mentor, and lead team members in stamping techniques and safety protocols.

- Monitor equipment performance and perform basic troubleshooting as needed.

- Maintain an organized work area, ensuring that all tools and materials are readily available for the team.

- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements that enhance productivity.

- Conduct regular inspections of the production line to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures.

- Assist in the operation of forklifts and other machinery as required during peak production times.

Skills

- Bilingual preferred but not required.

- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is essential.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.

- Familiarity with die set-up and press operation is essential.

- Experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred.

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members towards achieving production targets.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
