We are currently hiring a Press Shop Operator to join our afternoon shift team. This role involves operating and setting up equipment such as the brake press and horizontal band saw in a busy, safety-first fabrication shop. You'll work with high-grade material, follow blueprints, and help produce quality metal components that support major industrial projects.
Pay: $24.00–$27.00 per hour + 12% shift premium Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 4:30 PM – 5:00 AM Hours: Work 36 hours per week
- Operate and set up press shop equipment, including:
- Horizontal band saw
- Brake press
- Read and follow basic blueprints and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and finish metal parts
- Perform routine machine inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
- Adhere to all safety protocols and shop procedures
- Experience operating horizontal band saws and brake presses
- Ability to read basic blueprints and tape measures
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
