Powder Coat Painter description of role:

NCT Technologies Group is currently seeking a Powder Coat Painter for 2nd shift to join our team.

The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for the coating of parts/products per customer needs. The painter sets-up and coats up to 250 parts per hour in various colors on a state-of-the-art conveyor system. Parts range in size and gauges of steel.

The ideal Powder Coat Painter will have an understanding in:

- Setting-up powder coating systems

- Monitoring coat quality for proper cure, adhesion, and coat thickness.

- Working in a team setting to direct/work with others in packaging and labeling.

- Check finished piece against print for correct color and texture.

- Changing colors during shift efficiently

- Monitor and track quantities of completed parts.

- Complete other duties as assigned

- Experience in Power Coat processes (manual, automated)

- Experience in Power Coat quality checks (adhesion, thickness, cure)

- Experience in multi-color/quick changeover environment

- Complete other duties as assigned

Powder Coat Painter Skills and Requirements:

- Excellent attendance

- Punctual

- Team Player

- Positive Attitude

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted

- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking and bending

Work Schedule:

Full time, 2nd shift: 2:30pm – 11:00pm. Possible overtime and Saturdays

Powder Coat Painter Salary:

$21.00 - $24.00 based on experience
