We are currently looking for a Pipeline Records Analyst I/ II/ Sr to work in our Owensboro, KY or Houston, TX location.
Position Description
This position is responsible for providing technical support to Operations, Engineering, and Construction for both new and existing facilities to assure safe and compliant operation within BWP. This position represents the company in a professional capacity. This position is primarily responsible for auditing and validation of pipeline construction, pressure testing, and other regulatory required pipeline records from a
Traceable, Verifiable, and Complete(TVC) standpoint, as well as confirmation of MAOP/MOP calculations. Additional and related responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- 49 CFR 192 and 195 MAOP and MOP calculations.
- 49 CFR 192 Subpart J and 195 Subpart E pressure testing calculations.
- Ability to read, understand, and apply policies, procedures, guidelines, requirements, and regulations.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of initiative and motivation.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Strong computer applications skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Background in Pipeline Industry.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction and pressure testing practices and records.
- Understanding of ESRI ArcMap
- Associate’s degree, or higher, in an engineering related discipline; or, any combination of education and experience in the pipeline industry that provides the equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
- BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited University
