Part time TIG Welder needed. 15-25 hours per week, flexible hours.
- Ability to read & interpret weld symbols and drawing
- Perform welding according to manufacture/repair operations
- Perform visual inspections of all finished weld to ensure compliance
- 5 Years minimum aerospace welding experience required.
- Capable of very small TIG tack welding.
- Must have certification @ minimum in Base metal Group IIB.
- Must be proficient in English for verbal & written instructions.
- Knowledge of welding wires for aerospace applications for stainless steels and nickel base alloys.
- Candidates will be required to perform small tack weld on a 410 stainless housing using 0.020 inch 410 SS weld wire.
- DOT pre-employment drug testing required.
TIG weld 347, 410, 17-4PH and other types of stainless steel assemblies. Metals thickness range from 0.02 inch to 0.100 inch. Skills required: Basic understanding of AWS 17.1 weld specifications, Minimum 5 years of TIG welding experience in stainless steels, nickel alloys welding experience is a plus!
Work schedule is very flexible for both hours & days.
