NGSG has immediate openings for a Paint Supervisor. 40-48 hours per week (6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, Friday as needed).

- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in coatings operations within an industrial environment
- Three (3) years supervisor experience.
- Industrial paint experience includes (not limited to) preparation (pressure wash cleaning, sanding, masking, rolling, etc.) and coatings application (brush, roll, spray) with epoxies and urethanes.Primary duties: Supervise a team of 2+ painters, schedule the paint booth time to meet equipment deliveries, request paint supplies as needed, maintain paint equipment, and keep a safe work environment. Additional skills, bonus but not required: knowledge of moving heavy industrial equipment and supervising forklift operators, administration of safety program, and administration of yearly inspections by third party.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and full body movement (e.g., climbing, balancing, stopping, kneeling, and crouching.)
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are required to safely operate welding equipment and hand tools.
- Visual acuity is necessary to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise and fabrication shop conditions.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirator, face shields, gloves, steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
