The Packaging Technician is responsible for packing finished rubber materials into boxes, accurately labeling each package, and ensuring products are prepared for shipment in accordance with company quality and safety standards.
- Pack finished rubber products into boxes according to work instructions
- Accurately apply labels to boxes, including product identification, batch/lot numbers, and weights
- Verify correct product, quantity, and labeling prior to sealing boxes
- Maintain clean and organized packaging and work areas
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Notify supervisor of packaging errors, damaged materials, or labeling discrepancies
- Assist with basic inventory tracking and documentation as required
- Support other production or warehouse tasks as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic math skills for counting and weighing materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move boxes
- Repetitive use of hands for packing and labeling
- Manufacturing/industrial setting
- Exposure to typical production floor conditions
