About This Job

A-Line E.D.S. is hiring a Dismantling Operations Supervisor in Waterloo, IA. You’ll lead a team in safely dismantling transformers and equipment using heavy machinery. We’re looking for a proactive, bilingual leader (English/Spanish) who can drive safety, efficiency, and strong team communication.

What You'll Do:

•

Supervise dismantling operations and provide direction to skilled laborers and team leads

•

Operate and coordinate the use of forklifts, skid loaders, telehandlers, shredders, and core shears

•

Ensure safety compliance and proper handling of equipment and materials

•

Collaborate with other departments to meet production targets

•

Communicate clearly with English- and Spanish-speaking employees

•

Translate safety meetings, SOPs, and operational instructions as needed

•

Train and onboard new hires, ensuring they are equipped for success

•

Mentor and develop team members as part of A-Line’s growth strategy

What You Bring:

•

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (required)

•

Experience operating heavy equipment and hand/power tools

•

Strong knowledge of safety standards in an industrial environment

•

Prior team lead or supervisory experience required

•

High school diploma or GED (preferred)

•

Ability to lift 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions

•

Commitment to coaching, teamwork, and a safety-first culture
